Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setup, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently #18 in the App Store productivity category) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the iOS app, work within a dedicated product team, participate in roadmap discussions, and maintain the app's complex architecture. You'll have the opportunity to shape product direction and collaborate with designers and internal teams on strategic decisions.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at high velocity, and know how to balance speed with focus in a fast-paced startup environment. Technical expertise required: Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
