With 200+ employees across a fully distributed, asynchronous organization, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store productivity category.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, and work within a dedicated product team to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the complex app architecture while participating in strategic product discussions. You should have a proven track record building products that scaled to large user bases, from inception through significant traction. Experience engineering products end-to-end is essential. You must be obsessed with customer experience, think deeply about product evolution, work with speed and focus, and communicate clearly in a remote-first environment.
Technical requirements include strong Swift and SwiftUI expertise, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure experience, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git proficiency. You'll work on a product that directly impacts millions of users, including people with dyslexia, ADD, low vision, autism, and second-language learners. Speechify operates at the intersection of AI and audio, one of tech's fastest-growing sectors.
