Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app on the App Store) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to remove reading as a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams to ensure thoughtful product evolution. The ideal candidate has experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping from inception to traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and thrive in a high-growth, asynchronous remote environment.
Required technical skills include Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git. You should demonstrate strong communication, work ethic, and a competitive drive to win.
