With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store's productivity category.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, and work within a dedicated product team to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while participating in strategic product discussions. This is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions that delight users.
You should have a track record of working on products that scaled to large user bases, from inception through significant traction. Experience engineering products end-to-end is essential. You must be customer-obsessed, thinking deeply about product evolution and supporting designers and internal teams in making the right directional choices. Speed and focus are critical—you ship quickly, prioritize ruthlessly, and know when to engage versus go heads-down.
Required technical skills include Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git.
