Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app in the App Store) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to remove reading as a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture while collaborating with designers and internal teams on product direction. The position is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about product decisions, and has a track record of building delightful user experiences.
You should have experience scaling products to large user bases, a proven track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong customer obsession. Technical requirements include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
