Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app on the App Store) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the iOS app, work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintain the complex app architecture. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction and work on features that directly impact millions of users with learning differences including dyslexia, ADD, low vision, and autism.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping from inception to traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work with speed and focus, and have deep technical expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git. The role suits someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions that delight users.
