Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently #18 in App Store productivity category) and drive new product initiatives.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the iOS app, work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintain/enhance the complex app architecture. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction and work on features that directly impact millions of users with learning differences (dyslexia, ADD, low vision, autism, second language learners) and professionals worldwide.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and know how to balance execution with strategic focus in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Technical expertise required: Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
