With 200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app in the App Store) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to make reading never a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintain the complex app architecture. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategic direction in a flat organization where technical excellence and consistent delivery drive advancement.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and know how to balance focus in a fast-paced remote environment. Technical requirements include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
