Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support growth of its iOS app (currently the #18 productivity app on the App Store) and develop new features aligned with the company's mission to remove reading as a barrier to learning.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, participate in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintain the app's complex architecture. You'll have the opportunity to influence product direction and work on a platform that directly impacts millions of users, including people with dyslexia, ADD, low vision, autism, and other learning differences.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and thrive in a high-growth, asynchronous remote environment. Technical requirements include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
