As a Software Engineer on the iOS team, you will design, implement, and test mission-critical applications that leverage Ditto's technology for optimized command and control and situational awareness. You'll work on a small, focused team partnered directly with end-users, handling the full end-to-end implementation from design through coding, testing, deployment, and operational support. Key responsibilities include: - Leading technical implementation for Ditto's App Builder - Helping customers solve complex issues with Ditto solutions, including SDK questions, architecture, performance, and scaling - Becoming an expert on best practices for developing mobile applications at scale using Ditto - Advocating for customer needs by working with engineering and product teams to debug issues and escalate problems - Designing and building UI and API interfaces in collaboration with developers and product managers - Supporting application development teams with delivery requirements, security/authentication, integration testing, and production distribution Required qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of active software development experience - Proficiency developing applications using Swift - Experience with networking protocols and communications (REST, TCP, UDP, QUIC) - Experience developing with mobile databases - Ability to read code, logs, and stack traces; debugging in distributed environments - Knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD practices - Strong written and async communication skills Nice-to-have skills include experience with Kotlin, Java, Rust, JavaScript, Android, Flutter, React Native, low-code/no-code platforms, SDK development, mesh networks, BLE, WiFi, and network administration.
