Salary: USD/CAD 150,000 - 270,000 / annual
Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building foundation models and end-to-end products for businesses. This role is part of the Data Abstractions & Tools team within North, Cohere's AI workspace platform designed for secure enterprise AI deployment.
You will own the integration pipeline end-to-end, responsible for adding new integrations (tools) to the North agentic platform and maintaining existing ones in production. Key responsibilities include designing and shipping new integrations against external APIs, establishing repeatable processes for how the team adds integrations, creating evaluations and tests to ensure integrations work correctly and catch regressions, and tuning tool descriptions to improve agent performance based on feedback and eval results.
You'll also mentor other engineers in adding integrations, raising the bar for quality and consistency across the team. This is a hands-on role where you'll actively use AI in your work while maintaining accountability for reliability and quality.
Ideal candidates have shipped production code and built integrations against external APIs. Experience evaluating agentic systems is highly valued; at minimum, you should understand evals, be comfortable with prompt engineering, and able to tune tool descriptions. You thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities, bring high agency and self-direction, have owned projects end-to-end, and enjoy helping teammates succeed alongside shipping your own work.
Cohere is remote-friendly with offices in Toronto, London, NYC, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, and Seoul. There is no minimum in-office requirement.
