Salary: USD 160,000 - 300,000 / annual

You will own Hebbia's AWS infrastructure end-to-end, treating cloud infrastructure as a software problem. This is a build role focused on designing and operating production systems, not a support or on-call role. Your core responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete AWS footprint: multi-account architecture, networking, IAM, and container orchestration
- Defining all infrastructure as code with the same rigor applied to application code—review, testing, versioning
- Managing cloud costs and capacity through modeling, right-sizing, and automation to prevent over-provisioning
- Building and maintaining the developer platform: CI/CD pipelines, ephemeral environments, preview environments, and development tooling that every engineer depends on
- Continuously improving CI/CD velocity and treating build times as a product with measurable metrics
- Hardening infrastructure for financial-services compliance: threat modeling, least-privilege access, secrets management, automated compliance tooling
- Architecting for scale: multi-region capability, network and account isolation, growth headroom for enterprise deployments
- Partnering with product engineering teams as a peer, co-designing infrastructure alongside the systems that run on it
- Evaluating and integrating new infrastructure technologies where they measurably improve scalability, security, or velocity
You bring 5+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure experience at venture-backed startups or top technology firms. You have deep expertise with infrastructure-as-code tooling and a proven track record managing production estates entirely in code. You are fluent in AWS (networking, IAM, account architecture—not just compute), containerization, and orchestration. You are proficient in at least one scripting or backend language (Python, Go, or similar) for automation and tooling. You have strong CI/CD expertise, OS-level and networking knowledge, and experience instrumenting infrastructure with monitoring and observability. You understand enterprise compliance requirements and have hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure to that bar. Experience managing cloud costs at scale or building cost guardrails is a strong plus.
