Salary: USD 154,000 - 200,000 / annual
Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Lifecycle Experience team builds best-in-class customer onboarding experiences for Adyen's platform, handling customer data identification and verification, payout account connections, compliance with local and global regulations, and secure management of legal entity data.
In this role, you will develop and maintain both API and UI integration methods while improving automation and compliance processes. Day-to-day responsibilities span from adding features and integrating with internal or third-party services for data enhancement, to preparing platform launches in new regions. You'll design systematic APIs and intuitive UIs to guide customers through onboarding with minimal manual data entry or operational intervention. The role involves researching, creating proofs of concept, integrating with external providers, and solving complex technical challenges at scale.
You should have 6+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Java, web services, REST APIs, and SQL/PostgreSQL. You understand distributed systems at scale, value software engineering best practices, and are interested in product knowledge. You enjoy seeing the big picture and understanding how your code impacts the business, and you actively involve others to gain different perspectives.
