The Integrations Experiences team builds features that help customers manage data flowing into and out of Attentive's platform. This includes customer-facing observability tooling, the Integrations Marketplace, onboarding experiences, and AI-powered optimization capabilities for audience growth.
As a Software Engineer II, you will develop full-stack experiences that make complex data workflows intuitive and actionable for marketers. You'll design modern React applications and develop backend services powering customer-facing products. Working with product managers, designers, and engineers, you'll shape features from concept through production, balancing user experience, performance, and scalability.
Key responsibilities include: developing and maintaining intuitive, reusable web interfaces backed by scalable backend systems and APIs; implementing systems for customer observability into Attentive's event-based platform; collaborating cross-functionally to build applications supporting communication channels; improving code quality through reviews and testing; addressing technical debt; and contributing to technical decisions.
You bring 3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on frontend systems. You have strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including modern patterns, performance optimization, and responsive UI development. Backend exposure to Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot is a plus. You have experience building scalable, high-performance customer-facing applications; working with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL; leveraging agentic AI coding tools; and collaborating effectively across teams. You understand software best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD. Experience with testing frameworks like React Testing Library and Playwright is expected. You're excited by new technologies but thoughtful about adoption, with curiosity, ownership, and a passion for high-quality, user-friendly software.
The tech stack includes: React and TypeScript frontend with GraphQL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, and Playwright; Java/Spring Boot microservices backend with Gradle, DynamoDB, Airflow, Postgres, and Redis on AWS; Kubernetes infrastructure via AWS EKS; tooling including Istio, Datadog, Terraform, CloudFlare, and Helm; and ML automation with Python, Metaflow, HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas.
