The Data/AI Infrastructure team provides data engineering and analytics teams with essential tools and platforms. As a Software Engineer II, you will lead the design of DevOps strategy and work cross-functionally to develop and evolve cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, scalability, and security to support 10x growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading DevOps strategy design and implementation
- Owning data and AI infrastructure across multiple countries and geographies
- Developing observability and detection capabilities to reduce problem discovery time while maintaining stability, agility, and security
- Building consensus among DevOps engineers across feature teams on tools and practices, evolving these into agreed standards
- Working with data streaming platforms such as Kafka, Flink, and Spark
- Maintaining and developing data infrastructure using modern technologies
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps
- Data streaming engineering experience with platforms like Kafka, Flink, or Spark
- Hands-on programming language proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering field
