The Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) division is rapidly growing to address escalating customer demand. ISPM provides continuous tracking of enterprise identity setups across platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Entra, revealing hidden vulnerabilities and packaging insights into actionable formats for security teams.
This is a hands-on backend engineering role at the intersection of identity security and distributed systems. You will write production code, build and scale backend services, and contribute to technical designs while partnering with senior engineers and product management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking well-defined problems from product requirements and delivering backend solutions end-to-end, from data modeling through APIs and evaluation logic
- Contributing to the design of core identity security posture systems and authoring technical design documents
- Building high-performance backend services in Go, including event-driven systems, REST/gRPC APIs, cron jobs, and integration layers
- Designing and optimizing database schemas for large-scale multi-tenant identity workloads
- Implementing event-driven workflows using Kafka for asynchronous processing and continuous identity posture evaluation
- Maintaining operational reliability through runbooks, feature flags, and monitoring
- Collaborating with tech leads, engineering managers, and fellow engineers on feature scope and quarterly key results
- Participating in on-call rotation, incident response, and SLO management
- Working autonomously within a distributed team across India and Singapore
Required qualifications: 4+ years software development experience with ~2 years building production-grade backend services; extensive production experience with Go; strong system design skills for scalable, multi-tenant, event-driven distributed systems; hands-on Kafka or similar event-streaming experience; strong SQL and PostgreSQL proficiency; excellent communication abilities; comfort with ambiguity; familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
Nice-to-have: identity security/IAM background, cybersecurity product experience, gRPC/Protobuf expertise, React and TypeScript skills.
