Teamworks is the operating system for sports, powering 7,000+ organizations globally from collegiate programs to major pro leagues. The AMS (Athlete Management System) is a core product in the Teamworks Performance suite, trusted by elite sports organizations and high-performance military programs as their single source of truth for physical performance data, medical records, and athlete readiness. You will be the primary frontend engineer on AMS, owning the React layer end-to-end as the company modernizes this mission-critical platform. You'll build interactive, data-intensive interfaces that coaches, trainers, and performance staff rely on daily to manage athlete performance and readiness. Key responsibilities include: - Own AMS frontend development end-to-end, building and shipping React and TypeScript features from design through production - Build complex, data-intensive components including interactive grids, forms, dashboards, and widgets that efficiently handle large datasets using AG Grid - Implement and maintain form-building functionality using SurveyJS and manage application state using React Context or Zustand - Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs and Tanstack Query, partnering with backend teams to keep data flows performant - Collaborate with design and backend engineering to deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences - Contribute to code reviews and Agile ceremonies with the AMS team Required qualifications: - 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong expertise in React and TypeScript - Proven experience building complex, data-driven UI components including grids, forms, and dashboards in production applications - Experience integrating RESTful APIs into frontend applications with solid understanding of async data fetching patterns - Working knowledge of modern build tooling including RsPack and pnpm, with experience shipping in CI/CD environments - Ability to work effectively across large timezone gaps with regular overlap with Australia-based team - US citizenship with willingness to pursue security clearance in the future Preferred qualifications include familiarity with visualization libraries like Chart.js, background in performance-driven applications in sports tech or military environments, experience outside pure frontend (devops, testing, backend), or Java background.
