Salary: USD 152,000 - 190,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer II, Backend, you will help develop new products from concept to launch, building customer-facing products that drive direct business impact. You'll work on systems that scale with speed and intention, tackling hard technical problems and owning outcomes end-to-end.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with engineers across the company to build new features and products end-to-end
- Working alongside user-facing teams like Sales and Support to understand customer needs
- Designing and implementing solutions to improve banking experiences
- Owning problems end-to-end, from user experience and data models to scalability, operability, and metrics
- Tuning and polishing features to a high degree of excellence
The role is based in the New York office with a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday). Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work is available.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications
- Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end-to-end
- High bar for engineering standards and willingness to learn
