Salary: EUR 55,000 - 68,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer II, you will complete smaller projects autonomously with regular oversight on new problems or undefined projects. You will prioritize activities with limited guidance while understanding how your tasks contribute to team goals. The role emphasizes proactive collaboration, seeking guidance when needed, forming opinions while soliciting diverse input, and anticipating roadblocks.
Key responsibilities include completing comprehensive assigned tasks, collaborating with team members to find optimal solutions, recommending process improvements, managing expectations, and accurately gauging effort needed for objectives. You will work on production-ready, scalable web applications and take on-call responsibilities.
The technology stack includes Scala (primary language), Elasticsearch, Postgres, Redis, CockroachDB, Kafka, Pulsar, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and React. The role requires 3+ years of software development experience, proficiency in modern programming languages (Scala and/or Java preferred), and experience with Elasticsearch or similar technologies. You must be legally authorized to work in the EU and fluent in English.
