Trustpilot is a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company operating the world's largest open customer review platform. You will join a newly formed Trust Tech team focused on building automated systems that enforce Trustpilot's terms of use for businesses. The team develops sophisticated detection and enforcement systems to combat misuse on the platform, working closely with Data Scientists, Data Ops, and ML Ops teams. Your responsibilities will span full-stack development with emphasis on backend stability and scalability. Key responsibilities include: - Implementing and releasing new backend features with focus on stability and scalability - Building solutions for high-volume data processing in fraud detection pipelines - Maintaining and improving internal investigation tools built with React - Troubleshooting software, optimizing database performance, and squashing bugs - Participating in technical discussions and learning Infrastructure as Code best practices - Collaborating with Data Scientists on detection model integration - Contributing to a cross-functional team with full ownership of products and codebase You will have commercial experience in full-stack web development with a backend focus. Required skills include solid knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, Node.js backend development, SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases, React frontend development, and hands-on AWS or GCP experience. The role values friendly, constructive communication and a passion for continuous improvement. The tech stack includes TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS (ECS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation), GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub), Docker, Terraform, Node.js, Serverless Framework, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, React, Next.js, and GitHub Actions. Interest in Applied AI and backend integration is a plus.
