Salary: EUR 57,000 - 87,000 / annual
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, offering consumers flexible buy-now-pay-later options without hidden fees or compounding interest. The Servicing International team is at the forefront of Affirm's global expansion, building foundational platforms to launch products into new international markets.
In this role, you'll contribute to two critical areas of the user journey: purchase protection (disputes and refunds) and agent tooling for customer support. You'll work on tasks that advance the team's projects and goals, collaborating proactively with teammates and stakeholders across European and global Servicing Engineering organizations. You'll balance speed and quality, ensuring business goals are met while maintaining system reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to fullstack development on purchase protection and agent tooling features
- Working collaboratively with your team and stakeholders, maintaining visibility on risks and trade-offs
- Writing clear, well-tested, and extensible code that interacts with multiple software components
- Navigating large codebases, debugging, and providing constructive code review feedback
- Participating in on-call rotation
- Engaging in growth and development activities to build team community
You should have previous work or internship experience shipping web apps using React or Vue, and designing/developing APIs at scale with Python or Kotlin. You're comfortable taking business scenarios into multi-component solutions, navigating complex systems, and demonstrating ownership of your growth through proactive feedback-seeking. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
