Figma is hiring experienced full-stack engineers to join its Growth and Monetization Engineering organization. This group spans multiple teams—Growth, Billing, Enterprise, and Discovery—each tackling complex challenges that help millions of users maximize Figma's collaborative design platform.
In this role, you'll design and scale reliable, secure, and intuitive systems powering collaboration across Figma's product suite. Depending on your team assignment, you might architect billing infrastructure at global scale, build secure enterprise access systems, improve user discovery and workspace organization, or drive product-led growth and monetization initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, C++, and related technologies
- Own critical product areas impacting user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, support, and sales teams to shape direction and solve complex problems
- Operate and monitor systems you build with focus on reliability, security, performance, and user experience
- Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture
You'll need 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record shipping and maintaining complex production systems. Full-stack capability is essential: modern front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (Ruby, Python, Go, PostgreSQL). Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions are required.
Bonus experience includes B2B SaaS, billing/payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems; familiarity with Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly; background in experimentation, observability, or compliance automation; extensibility platforms (plugins, APIs, widgets); or open-source contributions. Passion for elegant architecture and developer/user experience is valued.
