Taulia is a fintech platform (part of SAP) serving over 2 million businesses across 150+ countries, helping them optimize working capital and supply chain resilience. The Trade Technology Engineering team builds and maintains the core financial platform processing thousands of daily funding requests with extreme focus on security, stability, and compliance.
This is an individual contributor full-stack role (60% frontend, 40% backend) where you will own features end-to-end from database to user interface. You'll develop responsive, accessible UIs using modern frameworks while building reliable backend services and APIs. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into scalable solutions, designing reusable components and appropriate architecture, integrating frontend and backend systems, optimizing performance and cross-browser compatibility, conducting code reviews, writing comprehensive automated tests, and collaborating with designers, product managers, QA, and other engineers.
The role emphasizes AI integration—you'll apply prompt engineering and context management, use AI coding tools to accelerate development, build AI-assisted workflows (automated code reviews, documentation generation), and evaluate cost/latency/reliability trade-offs in AI-enabled solutions. You'll own feature quality end-to-end through automated testing before merge.
Required skills: Deep TypeScript and React experience (hooks, Context API, component composition); solid Java/Spring backend, relational databases (MySQL), REST API design; commitment to automated testing (unit and integration); familiarity with GraphQL, Apollo Client, Spring Security, OAuth2/OIDC; ability to evaluate design patterns and architectural trade-offs. Typically 3+ years of full-stack software development experience and a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
