Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers, bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking to military systems. The Air and Ground Deterrence team builds networked sensors and effectors that detect, track, identify, and defeat Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) threats. This team develops, tests, deploys, and sustains the Anduril Air Defense Family of Systems in challenging operational environments worldwide. As a Mission Software Engineer, you will solve user-facing and system-level problems involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, and robotics. You'll own feature development and rollout for products, develop extendable solutions for complex mission sets, and build microservices to extend user interface capabilities. You'll participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment, quarterback on-call issues from remote sites, and travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments. Required qualifications include 2+ years building React applications, 2+ years building tools and platforms using Go and cloud-native technologies, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. A strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Robotics is essential. Preferred qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or Engineering, strong architectural engineering skills, experience with NixOS, containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and knowledge of control software.
