You will join a distributed, collaborative team as a Frontend Engineer, working on Mistral's complete product range. Your responsibilities include designing and developing scalable frontend features with seamless backend integration, prioritizing user experience across all products, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend features using modern tech stacks
- Ensure user-centric design and intuitive product experiences
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- Work cross-functionally to solve complex technical challenges
- Stay current with AI and software development trends
- Ship products end-to-end with attention to performance and reliability
Required qualifications:
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Remix, Vue.js)
- Knowledge of web libraries (Tanstack React Query, tRPC, Framer Motion)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Autonomous, self-starter mindset with low ego and team spirit
- Preference for B2C product experience
Ideal to have:
- Experience building AI products, particularly with LLMs
- Python knowledge
- Distributed systems understanding
- Monitoring and alerting experience
- UX development skills (Figma)
The role is based in Paris or London with an expectation of at least 3 days per week in-office to foster collaboration and communication.
