Enterprise Verticals at OpenAI builds role-specific ChatGPT Work experiences for high-value enterprise workflows. The team combines product engineering, plugins, skills, connectors, data, and evaluations to move from useful demos to reliable daily work.
You will be a full-stack product engineer owning ambiguous enterprise workflows end-to-end. This means understanding customer problems, shaping product direction, building across frontend and backend systems, working through platform dependencies, instrumenting quality, and learning quickly with design partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shipping role-specific workflows across ChatGPT Work surfaces, services, plugins, and connectors
- Translating customer evidence into clear product decisions, milestones, and measurable quality gates
- Partnering with Design, Research, GTM, Security, and platform teams
- Creating robust evaluations, observability, and rollback paths
- Owning the full loop from prototype through bounded rollout and iteration
You should be a strong product engineer with excellent product judgment, comfortable moving across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and systems integration. Clear communication with customers and cross-functional partners is essential. You use evidence and tests to make ambiguous work observable and care deeply about enterprise permissions, reliability, privacy, and rollout safety.
