Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Software Platform team builds the products and systems that empower engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy cutting-edge defense technology with efficiency and reliability.
In this role, you will work on Anduril's Continuous Integration platform, which enables every engineering team to build, test, and deploy products globally. You will ensure the CI/CD infrastructure is reliable, fast, and enables teams to ship without breaking downstream teams. Your focus will be on functional and operational improvements that directly speed up build, test, and deployment experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines enabling automated build, test, and deployment across multiple enclaves
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize build and test processes, reduce deployment friction, and integrate security controls early in the development lifecycle
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) to provision and configure development, test, and production environments meeting DISA STIG and NIST 800-53 requirements
- Create monitoring and logging infrastructure to support security operations, troubleshooting, and incident response
- Own concrete epics end-to-end and instrument metrics showing whether the CI experience is improving
- Work across complex delivery ecosystems, multi-stage release pipelines, and cloud and robot environments where correctness has measurable consequences
Required qualifications include strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust, solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and understanding of Linux system administration and scripting.
Desired qualifications include experience deploying systems in classified DoD or IC environments, experience with CircleCI and GitOps workflows, and proficiency with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
