As a Software Engineer, you will work across the full product lifecycle—from conceptualizing and building innovative solutions from scratch (0 to 1) to enhancing and optimizing existing systems as they scale (1 to n). You'll operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you'll shape standards for excellence and have meaningful impact on real-world problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including end-users, fellow engineers, and deployment strategists to build decision-making tools that improve airspace safety and provide critical operational intelligence. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing software solutions in Rust and Python - Leveraging modern LLM tools to accelerate development and enhance code quality - Working independently and leading initiatives across multiple teams - Solving complex technical challenges in a mission-critical environment - Traveling up to 50% as needed Required qualifications: - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Rust and Python preferred) - Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals with ability to quickly master new languages - Experience with modern LLM tools and AI-assisted development - Ability to collaborate effectively across teams - Grit and determination to overcome obstacles - Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities - Curiosity and drive for continuous growth - Active U.S. security clearance (required) - Willingness to travel up to 50% For senior-level candidates, experience building and maintaining high-performance, scalable systems is expected.
