As a Software Engineer, Data Integration, you will spearhead the engineering effort to build the bridge between complex Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the Bayesian platform, delivering critical real-time insights that help clinicians save lives. You'll work at the forefront of a high-impact mission, partnering directly with health system clients' technical teams to turn fragmented data into actionable clinical insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement data integration interfaces and ingestion pipelines that feed the Bayesian platform with real-time clinical data, working closely with client technical teams
- Implement automated integration tests at the data layer and troubleshoot issues during integration testing to ensure smooth, timely deployments
- Execute production deployments in collaboration with clients, serving as the technical point of contact during go-live week for any data integration issues
- Develop frameworks and tooling leveraging LLMs and automation to increase integration efficiency and velocity as the company scales
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation Leads, Clinical Integration specialists, and client teams to align the data integration workstream with overall integration efforts
You'll need a BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, plus 3+ years building and deploying data interface and ingestion pipelines to production with experience integrating external APIs (Python preferred). Strong experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure), relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), automated integration testing, and production deployments is required. You should be an excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively across functions and with enterprise stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include experience with SMART on FHIR applications, EHR system integration, HL7v2 and FHIR standards, working with enterprise customers, and building internal tooling or automation with LLMs.
