You'll join the Data side of the AI team, owning all aspects of data collection to support model training at petabyte scale. The role bridges infrastructure, engineering, and research to deliver high-quality datasets cost-effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Source and integrate new audio data streams into the ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend cloud infrastructure (GCP, Terraform) for data pipelines
- Partner with research scientists to optimize the cost/throughput/quality frontier
- Collaborate with AI leadership on dataset roadmap for next-generation consumer and enterprise products
You bring 5+ years of software development experience, strong proficiency in Python/bash scripting and Linux, hands-on Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (GCP preferred), and ideally experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing. A BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field is expected. You're scrappy, adaptable, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
