Rubrik's Cloud Native Protection team is a fast-growing division focused on helping enterprises secure their data across cloud environments. The team operates as a startup within the larger organization, tackling deep distributed systems and cloud infrastructure challenges at scale.
In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native protection software that helps businesses protect, search, and analyze their cloud data simply and scalably. You'll work on individual projects managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise. The team values self-starters who take ownership of problems rather than just executing tasks.
You should have a strong background in distributed systems and cloud technologies. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 2+ years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python) is essential. Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architectures is highly valued. You'll need excellent problem-solving skills, strong understanding of SDLC methodology and design patterns, and the ability to collaborate effectively both independently and as part of a team on complex, time-sensitive projects.
