We're seeking a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join the Backend Platform team. You'll help build the scalable services and core capabilities powering DataHub Cloud and enterprise deployments.
In this role, you'll work on backend systems that enable organizations to manage, operate, and extract value from their data ecosystem. You'll partner with experienced engineers to solve meaningful challenges across distributed systems, platform reliability, metadata operations, and customer-facing enterprise experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering DataHub Cloud and enterprise platform capabilities
- Develop reliable APIs, workflows, and distributed services supporting metadata operations, system health, deployment management, and customer-facing experiences
- Partner with senior engineers on complex technical challenges involving scalability, performance, availability, and distributed systems
- Build features enabling customers to configure, manage, and operate DataHub across cloud and enterprise environments
- Improve platform visibility through system health, usage, performance, and operational insights capabilities
- Collaborate with product, design, customer success, and engineering teams to deliver reliable product experiences
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Contribute to collaborative engineering culture through knowledge sharing and mentorship from experienced backend engineers
