Vega is a fast-growing cybersecurity startup building an AI-native platform for Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The company is redefining security analytics and operations with a next-generation OS for security teams, already deployed at major global organizations.
As a Software Engineer on the R&D team, you will design and build scalable, high-performance systems spanning the full stack. Your responsibilities include:
• Develop and own end-to-end features across backend services and frontend interfaces
• Design and implement distributed backend systems handling massive volumes of security data in real-time
• Build modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using React, TypeScript, Remix, Tailwind, and Shadcn
• Architect and maintain robust APIs and data contracts between frontend and backend layers
• Collaborate with product, design, and security experts to deliver impactful user-facing features
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E testing (Vitest, Playwright, React Testing Library, backend testing tools)
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability across the stack
• Participate in critical architectural discussions and influence the technical direction of the platform
