Replicant is building an AI-first platform that powers customer service at scale, handling millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies. The platform combines AI agents that handle routine requests (payments, appointments, authentication) with real-time conversation intelligence tools that help contact center leaders coach and improve performance.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll design and deliver technology powering natural, human-like conversations at scale. You'll build rich user experiences and backend services enabling customers to design, launch, and monitor AI-powered conversations. Working with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, and Kubernetes on GCP, you'll ship full-stack end-to-end features with high impact in days rather than weeks.
Key responsibilities include building features for Replicant's core AI voice and chat products, integrating speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities, optimizing production systems for latency and cost, participating in on-call rotations, and shaping a culture emphasizing knowledge sharing and mentorship. You'll collaborate closely with product and machine learning teams to ensure customers can build compelling conversations.
You should have 2–3 years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, or complex real-time systems. You'll need proven ability to own and ship elegant, scalable solutions, strong collaboration skills, and mastery of AI tools for code improvement and debugging. Technical requirements include proficiency in TypeScript/React, Node.js, or Python; familiarity with relational databases, cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines; and enthusiasm for AI, machine learning, and telephony.
Replicant offers remote-by-design work with distributed team flexibility, tech and learning stipends, comprehensive health and wellness benefits including flexible vacation and paid sabbatical after 5 years, competitive salaries, and equity ownership in a fast-growing AI company. The company emphasizes three core values: Blade Runners (ownership and impact), Bread Makers (humility and collaboration), and Självdistans (self-reflection and objectivity).
