You'll join the API Network team, which builds a centralized solution for discovering, learning about, and using APIs across public, internal, and partner workspaces. The Public API Network is the world's largest network of public APIs, while the Private Network serves as organizations' single source of truth for corporate APIs and internal resources.
In this full-stack role, you'll own and build intuitive, secure, performant, and scalable end-to-end experiences for search functionality within Postman. You'll optimize search UX with a strong focus on customer needs, collaborating closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to improve the search experience for millions of developers.
You'll be expected to be curious and proactive—diving into work beyond silos to iterate quickly and deliver incremental improvements. You'll build functional prototypes to solve both internal and external use cases, and contribute to engineering culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring peers.
The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of full-stack engineering experience with proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and databases (SQL/NoSQL). You should have a strong understanding of software development fundamentals and infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and a bias for action. You thrive in collaborative environments and are willing to experiment and explore beyond traditional silos.
