Matillion is seeking a Software Engineer to join one of its small, cross-functional development teams responsible for specific product themes and initiatives. You will work alongside engineers of varying experience levels to design, write, test, and release new features for Maia, Matillion's AI Data Automation platform.
Matillion combines 15 years of data engineering expertise with agentic AI to automate manual data work that slows teams down. The platform is used by leading organizations including Cisco, DocuSign, and Slack to accelerate data delivery and business impact.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Matillion's core products
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with teammates to design and implement new features
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through release
