You will join the Clinician Availability and Scheduling team, responsible for building the core services that power clinician schedules, slot availability, and patient booking capabilities. This team solves real-world scheduling challenges such as matching patients to the right clinician, balancing capacity, and handling rebookings across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and evolving core services for clinician schedules, slot availability, and patient bookings
- Solving complex scheduling problems in a multi-market environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, product, clinical operations, data analysis) to deliver full-stack solutions
- Developing both client-side and server-side features with emphasis on usability and clean APIs
- Participating in code reviews, writing comprehensive tests, and ensuring software excellence
- Managing infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines using AWS, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
- Working in an agile, lightweight Scrum process
The company emphasizes a hybrid working model with an expectation to be in the office at least 3 days per week. You'll work with a diverse, international team and have opportunities to grow through collaboration and knowledge-sharing across departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience with Java and React (Kotlin is a bonus)
- Proficiency using AI tools (coding assistants and agents) as part of your development workflow
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application development (AWS, Terraform)
- Experience building backend services and APIs, ideally in distributed or multi-market systems
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments
- Ability to work confidently with multiple languages and frameworks, adapting quickly to new ones
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Aptitude and willingness to develop skills you don't yet have
