Ketryx is an AI software platform enabling healthcare and life sciences companies to accelerate regulated product development from years to weeks. The company's AI removes compliance friction while maintaining innovation velocity, allowing regulated industries to ship at modern software pace. Ketryx already powers all top-five medical device manufacturers and touches 100M+ patient lives. Founded by the former Head of AI at Amgen and CTO of Wolfram Cloud, backed by Lightspeed Ventures, the company is expanding beyond healthcare into automotive, aerospace, and energy—any safety-critical regulated industry.
As a Software Engineer, you'll join a small, highly motivated engineering team in Boston on a hybrid schedule (in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; Wednesday work-from-home option). You'll own critical technology decisions and roadmaps, working end-to-end on product features from backend and database architecture through polished user interfaces.
Key responsibilities include: engaging directly with customers to gather feedback and inform product design; building full-stack features with React (Next.js), Tailwind, and modern UI libraries (JollyUI/shadcn, React Aria); collaborating with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams (Pre-Sales, Sales, Post-Sales, Marketing) to shape product improvements; establishing and maintaining strong UI development practices; and driving innovation in a fast-paced startup environment.
You're a self-starter with deep passion for software and genuine desire to improve patient outcomes through technology. You're detail-oriented, reliable, excellent communicator, and thrive in collaborative environments where ideas are exchanged freely. You challenge assumptions, embrace agile methodologies, and relish ownership in a dynamic startup setting. Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship not available.
