Salary: EUR 43,000 - 54,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer I, you will play a key role in shaping the future of customer engagement. You'll take on increasingly complex tasks using company best practices, collaborate with your team to deliver innovative solutions, and proactively seek feedback while identifying potential challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Complete assigned tasks that are comprehensive and well-thought-out
- Proactively collaborate with team members to find the best solutions
- Form opinions while seeking input from diverse team members on problem-solving approaches
- Recommend solutions to enhance existing processes and understand resources available to overcome unforeseen issues
- Anticipate roadblocks and use knowledge of business unit processes to navigate challenges
- Manage expectations and accurately gauge effort needed to accomplish objectives
Iterable's technology stack includes Scala for programming, Elasticsearch and Postgres for databases, Kafka and Pulsar for infrastructure, and AWS cloud services. REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of relevant software development experience
- Familiarity with building scalable web applications
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (ideally Scala and/or Java)
- Exposure to Elasticsearch and/or other relevant technologies like Postgres
- Desire to work in a highly remote/distributed but collaborative environment
- Willingness to take on-call responsibilities
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Legally authorized to work in the EU
