Incept AI is building the infrastructure and systems that make Voice AI reliable and practical in real-world applications. The company's first focus is the restaurant industry—specifically drive-thru and phone automation—where they've deployed the most accurate order-taking voice AI assistant with major restaurant chains.
In this role, you will design and build the scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure that powers Incept's voice AI agent service. You'll own the technical architecture and engineering practices that enable the platform to handle real-time, low-latency interactions at scale. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build cloud infrastructure for the voice AI service, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Develop robust integrations with third-party services and restaurant systems
- Build high-quality, pragmatic customer-facing tools that delight users
- Define the technical roadmap and system architecture
- Establish software engineering and operational best practices across the company
- Work on real-time low-latency systems, agentic AI workflows, and data pipelines
You should have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least one year of professional software engineering experience post-graduation. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience building production software and systems, familiarity with operational best practices, and a track record of shipping real-world products that users love.
