Flow is reimagining residential and commercial real estate through technology and operations, spanning condominiums, hotels, multifamily residences, and office spaces. The company is building a technology platform and operations ecosystem centered on creating flexible, connected communities with a focus on resident experience and genuine connection. As a Software Engineer on Flow's Engineering team, you'll build practical, high-impact software working directly with end users—operators, residents, business leaders, and cross-functional teams. This is a product-engineering mindset role where you translate operational friction into elegant software, intelligent workflows, and AI-powered products that improve how work gets done and how residents live. You'll move across the full stack as problems demand: backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, automation, and AI. Strong backend fundamentals are valued, but this role requires comfort and curiosity across the entire stack. You'll be embedded with teams across the business, not working in isolation. The company prioritizes learning velocity and adaptability over day-one expertise. You should be genuinely AI-native—not just familiar with AI coding assistants, but someone who has internalized AI as a core part of the engineering craft. You'll use tools like Claude Code and Cursor as force multipliers, which means strong written communication is essential: clear prompts, documentation, and stakeholder updates. You'll build and iterate quickly using modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development, moving from idea to working solution with both speed and rigor. The role offers significant autonomy to scope opportunities, make architectural decisions, run experiments, and challenge assumptions. You'll think critically, work independently, and own problems end-to-end, with genuine excitement about shipping tools used in real physical environments where software supports real teams, real operations, and real outcomes. Flow values engineers who are deeply curious, move quickly, and care about practical impact. The company emphasizes that every position has an onsite or in-office requirement, with a belief that the team is better together.
