Farfetch is a leading global luxury fashion marketplace connecting customers in over 190 countries with items from more than 50 countries and over 1,400 brands and boutiques worldwide.
You will join the Technology team in Porto, which builds end-to-end products and solutions powering the marketplace. Reporting to the Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for improving and maintaining the project portfolio while delivering exceptional experiences for luxury customers globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and optimize solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Ensure outstanding engineering practices when building solutions
- Expand the modular architecture by creating new libraries
- Provide technical support and expertise to resolve issues and improve system performance
- Collaborate effectively within an agile environment
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Develop end-to-end solutions and address issues during deployment and maintenance phases
- Interact with issue reporters to understand problems and convey clear solutions
- Evolve technical capabilities using state-of-the-art technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert in object-oriented languages, specifically C#
- Knowledgeable of unit tests and/or integration tests
- Passionate about code quality and best practices in modern software development
- Knowledgeable of SQL and experience with relational databases
- Knowledgeable of REST APIs
- Autonomous and able to make important technical decisions with positive platform impact
- Interested in large-scale systems
- Passionate about solving complex problems
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
