Salary: USD 107,000 - 143,000 / annual

You'll join an agentic-first development team that uses AI not just to write code, but to research unfamiliar domains, diagnose production issues, and break down complex problems. Engineers at Dutchie take end-to-end ownership of both software and outcomes for customers.
Key responsibilities include: driving solutions through the full lifecycle of code from design to deployment; partnering with product managers and customers to understand pain points and build delightful experiences; leveraging agentic workflows to amplify judgment and speed implementation; collaborating with high-performing teams while coaching others on AI tooling; continuously refining engineering culture and processes; and participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
You should bring full-stack proficiency with hands-on experience building applications across React, TypeScript, Ruby, and .NET/C#. Strong data modeling skills with relational and non-relational databases are important, along with a growth mindset and deep commitment to building resilient systems through robust testing and proactive monitoring. You should treat LLMs and agentic tools as core parts of your toolkit, demonstrate genuine curiosity about customer workflows, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Bonuses include experience in cannabis, POS, e-commerce, or payments; modern frontend frameworks; cloud-native infrastructure on AWS; or prior experience bringing AI-assisted workflows to engineering teams.
