Doppel is building an AI-native social engineering defense platform that protects executives, employees, customers, and brands from phishing, impersonation, fraud, and AI-powered threats across digital channels. The company unifies Digital Risk Protection, Human Risk Management, and Email Security through a real-time intelligence graph.
As a Software Engineer, you will build and scale Doppel's core platform, which monitors billions of signals daily across domains, websites, social media accounts, applications, dark web forums, and other digital channels. You'll design scalable systems that leverage AI agents to identify, classify, and disrupt threats at internet scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build real-time data pipelines that ingest and process data from millions of websites, social media accounts, cryptocurrency tokens, and other sources daily
- Develop robust, fault-tolerant software infrastructure to support rapid scaling of engineering and data systems
- Build full-stack software product features and design system integrations
- Train, integrate, and operationalize AI models to identify and classify phishing, counterfeiting, and digital scams
- Own engineering tasks end-to-end to meet customer requirements and deliver products on time
- Design and implement software engineering processes and best practices
- Build and maintain staging environments for safer releases, feature validation, and automated integration testing
- Triage, troubleshoot, and debug performance and reliability issues to maintain system performance at scale
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline. Doppel is a Series C startup backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, combining deep cybersecurity expertise with startup velocity.
