In this full-stack software engineering role, you will help build and maintain Dialpad's Workforce Management (WFM) product, which enables contact centers to forecast demand, plan staffing, create schedules, and manage their workforce. You will also contribute to broader company initiatives to incorporate agentic workflows into the contact center space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build features across WFM and Agentic product areas
- Develop accessible and responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Create APIs and services using TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Google Cloud Platform
- Write clear, modular, and well-tested code
- Leverage AI tools to increase code quality and delivery velocity
- Contribute to technical designs with support from experienced engineers
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to teammates
- Investigate production issues and participate in on-call rotation
- Collaborate with Agentic platform, Product, and Design teams
- Contribute to improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and documentation
- Integrate Agentic capabilities into customer workflows
- Learn and apply new Agentic technologies as the platform evolves
This is a full-stack role with equal emphasis on frontend and backend development. You will independently deliver scoped features and work closely with peers to raise the team's technical bar.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications
- Strong TypeScript and React skills
- Experience developing backend services and APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL
- Experience writing frontend or backend tests
- Understanding of software design, performance, and maintainability
- Ability to debug problems across multiple parts of an application
- Experience independently delivering projects
- Collaborative approach to technical decisions and feedback
- Strong ability to leverage AI to accelerate your work
