Salary: USD 127,000 - 176,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer, you will own product development from design through release, working on high-impact features that advance the mission of fairness. You'll work with a microservices architecture built on Ruby and JavaScript, using both SQL and NoSQL databases, with message queues for asynchronous processing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning feature development end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Partnering with product, design, and stakeholders to architect and implement new features
- Delivering performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code supporting hundreds of thousands of daily transactions
- Monitoring and resolving production issues for services owned by your team
- Bringing a customer-centric, product-oriented mindset to collaboration
- Developing new end-to-end web applications
- Running data-driven product experiments
You'll need 3+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Ruby and JavaScript (or similar languages). Experience with test frameworks (e.g., Cypress), RESTful APIs, XP practices, Domain Driven Design, and Continuous Delivery is expected. Strong documentation skills, ownership mindset, and eagerness to collaborate and learn are essential.
