Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, and manufacturing to deploy intelligent systems into real environments at scale. As a Software Engineer, you will help connect Atoms' core food infrastructure platform with external systems used by restaurant partners. Working with guidance from senior engineers, you'll grow your skills while delivering production impact. Key responsibilities include: • Build and maintain APIs for reliable, secure integrations that exchange critical data (orders, menus, status updates) between the platform and systems like Point-of-Sale (POS) and ERPs. • Contribute to backend development using modern practices and one or more core languages: Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, C#, Scala, or Rust. • Support data flow across systems by querying, synchronizing, and modeling critical restaurant data reliably. • Collaborate with Product Managers and experienced engineers to understand integration requirements and translate them into working code. • Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and features from implementation through testing and deployment, with team support. • Collaborate with teams across more than 20 countries globally. Required qualifications: • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or related field. • 1–3 years of professional experience as a Backend or Integration Software Engineer. • Ability to write production-ready code in at least one core backend language (Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, Scala, Rust, or C#). • Willingness to learn and grow, with a love for technical challenges and proactive problem-solving attitude. • Experience contributing to real projects where you can describe your role. • Good English proficiency for collaboration with the global team. This is an onsite role based in the São Paulo office, with a five-day-per-week in-office expectation.
