Addepar is a global data and AI platform serving investment professionals, managing nearly $9 trillion in assets across 1,400+ firms in 60 countries. The company unifies portfolio, market, and client data to deliver AI-powered insights within investment workflows, integrating with 650+ software and data partners.
You'll join the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) team to build a self-service onboarding system for held-away accounts targeting enterprise clients. This system will leverage Addepar's application framework with cloud-native architecture principles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing high-quality, efficient, well-tested code adhering to established standards
- Contributing to design of scalable, robust, maintainable software systems
- Establishing understanding of architectural patterns and aligning changes accordingly
- Working across the full software development lifecycle with emphasis on backend and database components
- Participating in thorough code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge
- Solving complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
- Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks
- Understanding CI/CD pipelines and monitoring practices
You bring 3+ years of backend software engineering experience with strong expertise in object-oriented languages (Java preferred), relational and non-relational datastores, CI/CD systems, monitoring, and logging. AWS or other public cloud experience is highly valued. You'll work within a talented engineering team designing systems instrumental to Addepar's growth and global expansion.
