CertifyOS is building data infrastructure for modern healthcare, solving the fragmentation and outdatedness of provider data systems. The company's API-first platform automates provider licensing, enrollment, credentialing, and network monitoring by connecting to hundreds of primary data sources, helping healthcare organizations maintain accurate, compliant, and reliable provider networks at scale. As a Software Engineer - Apps, you will build and maintain production-quality software across the full development lifecycle, from design through deployment. You'll write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in design discussions and code reviews. You'll debug production issues, improve system reliability, and collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams. The role emphasizes an AI-first engineering workflow. You'll use modern coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) as part of your daily development process, breaking complex problems into effective prompts and iterative tasks. You'll validate, test, and improve AI-generated code before production use, combining strong engineering judgment with AI tooling to deliver high-quality software faster. You should have 2–5 years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Java or similar object-oriented languages. You'll need understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems fundamentals, experience building production applications, and strong debugging and testing fundamentals. Familiarity with databases and data modeling is required, along with good communication and collaboration skills and a growth mindset. The tech stack includes Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Java 21 with Quarkus, React/TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Kafka, and data platforms like Spanner and BigQuery. Nice-to-have skills include microservices experience, cloud platform exposure, CI/CD pipeline familiarity, event-driven systems, and healthcare or regulated industry background.
