Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare that spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and dictation to eliminate documentation burden, intelligent agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs. The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) AI team is building the autonomous backend that transforms healthcare's manual financial workflows into intelligent systems. You will ship production AI directly into core revenue cycle operations, working with LLM-powered agents and copilots that automate claims submission, remittance posting, denials and appeals, and document extraction with real guardrails and compliance built in. You will own the full lifecycle of AI features from prompt design and evals through production infrastructure, and partner directly with customers and internal operations teams to turn repetitive manual work into auditable, AI-assisted workflows. The team moves fast, deploys daily, and takes full ownership from early thinking to production. Key responsibilities include: contributing to the technical direction of the RCM platform by proposing and implementing improvements to architecture, tools, and technologies; building end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management; taking ownership of integration workflows from design through deployment and post-launch monitoring; collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, healthcare) to gather requirements and prioritize tasks; improving system reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices; optimizing performance and scalability of web applications; collaborating with infrastructure and backend teams on high availability and resilience; mentoring and guiding engineers to foster technical excellence; and conducting in-depth code reviews to uphold best practices and drive architectural improvements. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience - 2+ years of professional software development industry experience - Proficiency in frontend languages (Javascript, HTML, CSS) - Proficiency in backend languages (Python, Go, or C++) - Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring/alerting tools - Proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making successful architectural decisions - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
